WHAT ARE POLYNUCLEOTIDES?

Rather than adding facial volume, polynucleotides are designed to support the skin’s natural repair processes. Research suggests they may have potential to improve aspects of skin texture, hydration and elasticity, although the evidence is still developing and results vary between individuals.

Following an individual consultation, polynucleotides may be considered for concerns including:

Skin Boosters or Polynucleotides: Which Should I Choose?
IS TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?
Skin boosters and polynucleotides may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are under 18
- Have an active infection, inflammation or broken skin in the treatment area
- Have particular allergies or medical conditions
- Take medication that could affect treatment or healing
- Have recently undergone another procedure in the same area
Some polynucleotide products are derived from fish sources. You must tell your practitioner if you have a fish allergy or any other known allergy. The precise ingredients and contraindications depend on the product being used.
