Celebrating 40 Years of Changing Faces: A Legacy of Beauty, Skill and Family

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for us at Changing Faces — 40 years of artistry, transformation, and community. What began as a single idea and a passion for helping women feel their absolute best has grown into one of Devon’s longest-standing beauty and bridal makeup names. Four decades on, Changing Faces continues to evolve, inspire, and serve thousands of clients who have trusted us with their most important moments.

Changing Faces was born from the creativity and vision of my mum, Julie, who built the business from the ground up. For many years, she poured her heart into bridal makeup and supporting women through some of the biggest days of their lives. Her warm approach, commitment to excellence, and eye for detail became the foundations of everything Changing Faces stands for today.

As she passed the reins to me when she retired, those core values remained. The business didn’t just grow — it blossomed. From expanding into permanent makeup to developing a full range of advanced cosmetic and beauty services, we carried forward the family legacy while adding further expertise, training, and innovation.

Across 40 years, Changing Faces has seen trends come and go, but our mission has stayed exactly the same: to help every person who walks through our doors feel confident, understood, and beautifully themselves.

From classic bridal looks to HD brows, PMU artistry, lash enhancements, removals, corrections, and our signature soft-glam transformations — every service has been shaped by client demand, modern training, and the natural evolution of the beauty industry.

Our salon has become a place where generations of women come for treatments, advice, care, and connection. Many clients who first visited us as brides now bring their daughters for brow shaping or special occasion makeup — a milestone we’re incredibly proud of.

The 40-year celebration also marks an exciting new chapter in the Changing Faces journey. Today, our brand stands on three strong pillars:

Changing Faces Weddings – now beautifully led by Kimberley, capturing timeless bridal elegance with a trusted, experienced team.

Changing Faces PMU  – Rebecca’s specialist arm, offering permanent makeup, corrections, laser removal, and advanced cosmetic treatments.

Changing Faces Beauty Studio – now transitioning to Zoe’s leadership, continuing the day-to-day salon experience our clients love.

Though each arm operates independently, we are united by the same ethos: professionalism, exceptional artistry, and heartfelt client care. Three women, three strengths, one iconic Devon brand.
