A COURSE OF TREATMENTS IS REQUIRED

Any kind of tattoo removal is a process, it’s worth mentally and financially committing to a course of 3 treatments so we can assess how easily the pigment is removing from your skin

  • Most clients see improvements after 2 or 3 sessions
  • Initially the pigment may look darker before it gets lighter
  • Pigment that sits deep in the skin comes up to the surface
  • This makes removal easier in further sessions

For some people the goal is complete removal, others are looking for lightening the area so it can be re-worked.  During the removal process we assess how well your skin is responding to the pigment removal, how deep it sits in the skin, is the area saturated with pigment and skin stain (the russet, lilac and warm colours) from years of top ups.  The fresher the tattoo, the easier it is to remove.

So how do you actually lighten the tattoo?

The area is numbed beforehand to help make the process as comfortable as possible and then Botched Ink® is soaked into the area to be treated, with skin opened up in a light skin needling type action.

A treatment appointment is 45-60 minutes with the first appointment being 20-30 minutes longer to include the consultation if held on the same day.

Video call Consultations can be held.

Some of the Benefits of using Botched Ink® for tattoo removal

Gentle during treatment:  Botched Ink® pH closely resembles healthy skin, meaning only a mild sting which disappears very quickly.  The formula includes Aloe Vera which really helps the solution soak into the skin, without needing to over traumatise you or your skin

Quickly dries skin, forming a thin scab:  Skin treated with Botched Ink® starts to dry out within the first few hours.  For you this means minimal inflammation and associated risk of scarringplus minimal risk of infection

Tattoos can look better during healing:  Many clients worry what they’ll look like during healing, the answer when using Botched Ink® is the treated area usually looks better.  Unwanted grey or orange brows will look shades of brown during the healing process, so you’re likely to get complimented on your new eyebrows for a few days!

After 48 hours you can shower and use aftercare:  When treated skin is fully dried you can begin using the prescribed aftercare serum, this makes scabbing and healing more pleasant

How much does it cost?

Consultation £20

£70 per session

Any kind of tattoo removal treatment is a process, with results depending on the age of the pigment, how much pigment there is, how deep it’s been implanted and how many treatments you return for.

It is recommended with Botched Ink® saline tattoo removal that you – the client mentally and financially commit to a course of 3 treatments.  That’s not promising the pigment will be gone in 3 treatments, but we will know how easily the pigment is removing to discuss how to proceed, with further sessions or see if the area is lightened enough for new pigment to be added.

8 -12 weeks must be allowed between treatments.

Further pigment cannot be added for at least 4 months

REFRESH & REVIVE

Do you have old microblading or semi permanent make up that doesn't seem to last after your colour boost session?

Is your skin full of pigment from lots of top ups and not giving the effect you want?

RECOMMENDED FOR REBECCA'S RETURNING MICROBLADING CLIENTS

Its now recommended that no more than 4/5 Microblading or SPMU colour boosts are carried out (12-18 months apart), depending on skin type, lifestyle factors and pigment fade.

Following this a Refresh & Revive course is recommended. This involves lifting some pigment out of the skin using the Botched Ink Saline Pigment Removal.

Rebecca will assess your brows each time you come for a colour boost to advise accordingly.

The Refresh & Revive sessions frees up space in the skin to implant more pigment to keep your brows looking good. Too many colour boost sessions may cause blocky, over saturated brows. You wouldn't keep applying your make up without taking yesterdays off, the same applies with Microblading & SPMU!

Up to 3 refresh sessions might be required.  Each session must be 8 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal. We must then wait 4 months before we can redo the microblading, the standard colour boost price applies.

The Refresh & Revive treatment will not leave you will no brows, the colour may be slightly faded and make up can be applied to the shape until we can carry out the colour boost session.

Technics and permanent make up has changed a lot over the years and proper pigment & skin maintenance ensures your brows remain the best they can be!
