Your sports massage will be deeper and more intense. It is based on the various elements of Swedish massage and incorporates a combination of other techniques involving stretching, compression, friction, toning, and trigger point response techniques. The aim of the treatment is to bring about optimum performance and to provide injury-free training and minimise post event injuries.

Benefits and Effects

There are three areas where sports massage is used to benefit athletes.

Maintenance Massage:

A regular massage treatment programme to help the athlete maintain or improve range of motion and muscle flexibility.

Event Massage:

Pre-event and post-event massage

Rehabilitation:

Even with preventative maintenance, muscles cramp, tear, bruise, and ache. Sports massage can speed healing and reduce discomfort during the rehabilitation process.

 

Remedial / Deep Tissue Massage

What is Remedial Massage?

If you are fed up suffering and putting up with back pain, shoulders aching, headaches, neck pain, sciatica or ongoing muscle ache, then remedial / deep tissue massage could be the answer for you.

Firstly you will have an assessment of your condition; where you need treatment and what may be causing your pain. The massage will then focus on treating this area using a combination of techniques to alleviate and improve the condition.

 

 

Treatment Prices

Tension Massage - 60 minutes - £45 

A Deep Tissue Massage focusing on your back, neck and shoulders. A great treatment for addressing muscle ache, joint pain and tension headaches.

 

Full Body Massage - 75 minutes - £55 

A fabulous relaxing massage which makes you feel, de stressed, energised and back in balance.

 

Sports Massage / Remedial massage - 60 minutes - £45 

This is a deep treatment for addressing soft tissue problems and loosening up tight muscles. We will focus the treatment specifically on the area causing the problem and is suitable if you are an active sports person or if you are less active but are suffering with muscle aches.

 

Indian Head Massage - 30 minutes - £35 

A short but intense treatment which addresses tension in your shoulders and head and is also deeply relaxing - The therapist will work on your shoulders, arms, neck, head and face.

 

Reflexology - 60 minutes - £45 we offer both hand and foot reflexology

This is a deeply relaxing therapy that aims to optimise physical, mental and emotional health; leaving you feeling amazing.
